Our solution architect is a key member of professional services delivery team. The solutions architect is responsible for identifying and mapping client business requirements to system/technical requirements. As Solution Architect, you will work on a team along with the Project Manager to support sales, application development and delivery to Modus Create’s customers.
At Modus Create you will collaborate with a cross-functional Scrum team together with designers, engineers and testers to deliver high quality innovative products in short sprint cycles.
Responsibilities - as Solutions Architect you will:
- Act as the technical team lead while moving project forward and working with clients
- Provide technical architecture and vision for our client’s mobile application platforms
- Interact with key decision maters (CIO, IT Directors etc) to drive projects
- Identify client requirements accordingly and determine the appropriate solution.
- Provide input for RFI and RFP responses, including the effort estimate, project team, timeline, implementation methodology and solution components
- Anticipate customer needs and identify appropriate solution alternatives
- Proactively assess solution specifications in light of changing customer requirements, and recommend solution changes that optimize value for both the client and Modus Create
- Contribute to design sessions, coding, code reviews, unit testing, integration testing, supporting beta testing, bug fixes, and documentation.
- Provide production support, evaluate and troubleshoot Java code and system failures and discrepancies; analyze performance and design inefficiencies.
- Act as the lead developer ensuring other members of the development team follow best practices and release cycle requirements
- Mentor teammates on application best practices.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge by researching new technologies and software products, participating in educational opportunities and reading professional publications
- Conduct internal learning sessions to help team members and clients development necessary skills around mobile application development
- Travel to client site when necessary. Remote is OK, however initially the person in this role will travel to Los Angeles, monthly.
